For the front layer, logs were selected from cold forest zones of Russia. The cold, slow growth environment forms a dense and durable wood structure. The wood texture reveals itself freely and naturally, possessing a restrained and soft natural shade. Each slab has a unique grain pattern, showcasing the special grain of cool-wooded wood.
The inner part of the board is made by hot pressing of cross-layered veneer sheets, which disrupts the natural direction of wood fibers and effectively compensates for wood stress. Thanks to repeated balancing treatments at constant temperature and humidity, the products are adapted to operating conditions with large temperature differences, which reduces the risk of lifting and cracking.
The surface is treated with environmentally friendly coating technology. The varnish layer has high adhesion, resists wear from everyday friction, surface care is simple and does not require much effort.
